You will hear this over & over again & it is one of the keys to being a successful coach, PRACTICE WITH A PLAN! You need to be prepared for your training sessions with age appropriate activities.

I WILL SHOW YOU HOW

STEP #1 KNOW YOUR PLAYERS

You need to know what your age group is able to learn both physically and mentally. For example, you cannot teach 7 year old’s how to strike a ball out of the air off a cross from a corner kick. They just cannot physically do this at their age. In order to understand what your age group is capable of, make sure you watched the 5 chapter video series on the age group you are coaching which you should have done in the “team organization section”. If you did not, don’t even waste your time moving ahead. You will be lost from the start. Use the link below if you have NOT yet watched the short video’s.

STEP #2 FINDING THE AGE APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES

Finding the right activities for your age group can be a time consuming task. The internet is full of thousands of soccer activities, but don’t wait your time looking. Youthsoccer101 has done all the work for you and is going to provide you with two practices per week for your entire first season. The plans are appropriate for ages 6-8 and include animation/video with each activity. The activities are effective but most of all they are FUN. You are going to look back at season #1 and thank me for having these plans in place..trust me!

STEP #3 ACCESSING THE PRACTICE PLANS

I have all the practice plans with over 600 activities organized on another site. Look at it this way, you are currently on the tutorial site and are about to go to the content site. You will need to register for FREE on the next site. Once you are registered you will be upgraded within 24 hours to have access to your entire season of plans and an additional 600 activities.
